01
Language and region preferences
On a first visit, the website may use the network provider's approximate country or region to select a default language, with browser language as a fallback. This selection does not add a stored raw IP address or a new location-tracking history. A language or region you confirm in the footer takes priority and is saved in essential preference cookies. You can change it at any time; a network region is not proof of nationality or residence.
02
Customer service conversations
When you use the customer service chat or AUREN advisor, we store the messages you submit and the replies actually provided to support your consultation and follow-up. Authorised supervisors can review these conversations, the employee assigned to a human conversation, reply authors and takeover or closure events. Anonymous conversations use an essential browser session; a guest record does not establish a verified account identity. Historical AUREN messages that were not saved on the server cannot be reconstructed from this record.
03
Information you provide
When you send an enquiry or sample request, we receive the contact and project information entered in the form. When you subscribe, we store your email address, language preference and subscription status.
- Name, company, country or region and contact details
- Product, application, quantity and performance requirements
- Attribution details such as landing page, referral source and campaign when available
04
How information is used
We use submitted information to respond to requests, qualify material requirements, coordinate samples and maintain a record of the conversation. Subscription details are used only for requested material updates.
- Provide the requested material or sample service
- Protect forms against abuse and duplicate submissions
- Maintain operational records and follow-up status
05
Account and request records
Customer account records include the profile information you enter, such as your name, title, telephone details and communication preferences. Authorised administrators can review submitted forms and privacy requests, internal follow-up notes and whether a request is pending or processed. A form that uses the same email address may be associated with an account for follow-up; that match does not itself verify the identity of a guest sender.
06
Network and device information
When registration or sign-in succeeds, or a form is submitted, the server may record the request IP address, an approximate country or region supplied by the network provider, and a broad device, browser and operating-system category inferred from the request. These details support account protection and handling the request; they are restricted to authorised administrators. We keep the initial registration context and the latest successful account context rather than a full browsing history. This collection does not enable optional visitor analytics or device fingerprinting.
- Network location describes an IP network exit, not nationality or a precise physical address; proxies may affect it
- Device categories are inferred from browser-provided request information and may be inaccurate
- Historical records without captured context are marked as unrecorded rather than reconstructed
07
Storage and access
Business enquiry and subscription records are stored in the website database. Public visitors can submit records but cannot read them. Access to management screens is restricted to the authorised site administrator.
- Material Lab generation history is separated by an anonymous browser session and retained temporarily
- The website does not expose administrator credentials or database secret keys to the browser
08
Optional visitor statistics
When enabled and accepted in Cookie settings, first-party statistics record public page paths, referral domains, broad device categories and a fixed set of browsing events. Search terms, form contents and URL query strings are excluded. Random browser identifiers are pseudonymised on the server; raw IP addresses are not stored in event records. Reports use a 90-day event window and older events are periodically removed. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.
09
Choices and contact
You may decline optional analytics in Cookie settings. Newsletter messages should include an unsubscribe option. To request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, contact [email protected]. Requests are assessed against applicable obligations and operational records.
